Hotels near Shark Island

"Beautiful setting. Incredible views. The pool with swim up bar is lovely. The snorkelling from the hotel beach was great - we saw a wide variety of fish and small reef shark. The only let down was that a few of the staff were unfriendly and a bit indifferent. We had just come from a similar standard hotel in Samui, where the staff had been so incredibly welcoming, so we were a bit disappointed by how unsmiling and disinterested a few (not all) of the staff on reception and in restaurant were. Overall, it was a wonderful stay."

"Nice staff, happy atmosphere, feels like it had a lot more services years ago, so feels like it's half used... that said it's not trying to be anything it isn't, rooms clean, bed comfortable and sheets and towels cleaned everyday and location just off main road help with noise levels "

"Superb villa with a great layput, spacious and well appointed with 3 overhead fans (bedroom, living area and outside seating areas). Staff very helpful, even let us in 2hrs ahead of check in time. Great decks below villas for snorkeling- swam with 2 Black Tip Reef Sharks whilst down... 1 adult about 5ft and one ypungster about 3 ft... amazing"

"Great location and awesome food and service. The rooms were great, but the bathrooms could use an unclogging of the shower drains. "

"The ocean view was absolutely incredible. The grounds are stunning and the staff is exceptional. We had a wonderful time staying here. There are many stairs, so be prepared for this each day. This place does require a motorbike, otherwise you will be spending a lot on taxis. The road is steep at places so experienced riders are better. "
