"OK Lodge is just a name; what is is is a (nicely) extended and converted terraced house opposite a park; so now a few studio flats, with some common areas. Modern and clean but a couple of issues - like oven not even wired in; no table to eat off; and also whilst we booked for 3 adults and was confirmed; they called to say max was 2 adults & a child and would not refund the extra £50 for the 3rd adult (who couldn't now come of course) and I had to go through Expedia to get resolved. "Great location. The roads near the hotel were a tad bit confusing and narrow for drivers but we found the hotel car park eventually. Otherwise great location in the centre of town and close to restaurants and the Westgate Gardens. Hotel staff were friendly and make recommendations on places to visit."

"The accommodation was clean and well presented. The continental breakfast was as good as any hotel and actually surpassed what is normally provided by a hotel. Our only gripes were the following:- The light outside our room was so bright when a car drove past that it woke us up during the night. Bearing in mind how hot the weather has been, a light weight quilt would have been a good idea, the ones on our bed were a bit too heavy. All in all, our stay was beyond expectation Thank you mick"
