"No heating in room. Radiator on timer that did not work. Days inn do all they can to make sure profit is king and customer comfort is secondary."

"The room was on the ground floor facing the car park. This meant i had to keep the blind down the whole time, which gave it a prison cell feel! Aside from that, it was a clean room and was OK for a couple of nights. The breakfast isn't great but you can have a couple of helpings to fill you up. For the price, it's a decent hotel. "

"Room was clean and tidy on arrival However next day.. left ticket on door for my room to be cleaned.. the bed was not made up neatly.. just thrown up and pillows not put back in a tidy position.. I expected decent toiletries in bathroom.. no shampoo first two days.. one of the bedside lamps didn’t work.. bit of a health and safety issue for me.. as I get up during the night and didn’t expect this .. to not easy to navigate channels.. watched Netflix on my iPad for duration of stay. Breakfast was disappointing.. not enough healthy or fresh options.. eg dried fruits instead of fresh. I paid for breakfast before arriving.. but ended up only having one as I went to a local cafe where they had fresh produce which was much more suitable for my dietary needs.Also on pricing! I got charged €14 for 2 cups of coffee!! Ridiculous price for guests staying at your hotel.. Another problem I had was trying to find any information about the dinner menu and prices.. There should be information in the hotel rooms for guests so that they can make a decision as whether to reserve a table. Also no information about spa or gym in room! Second day however bed was made up more satisfactorily and Elemis toiletries were available In bathroom. 😊. Staff were varied.. looking smartly dressed.. but I have definitely been in other establishments where the staff are much more energetic and engaging with their customers. Sorry wouldn’t stay again unless some changes were made."

"Nice selection of food and drink at breakfast, use of the swimming pool was an added bonus. Great sized cooprate room for a family of four. Ideal place for an overnight stay when visiting Sheffield Arena."

"Hotel was such amazing quality for the price! Room was great, very clean. Rainfall shower, comfy double bed, tea/coffee making facilities in the room and extras on cute little tables around the hotel, small but not too small TV in the room.. - Breakfast was amazing quality for the price (at the time of stay - £10 for full English breakfast including a pot a tea) and chef couldn't have been any more accommodating for my autism son if she tried. 20 minute drive away from Sheffield Arena and about 7 minutes from the A1M. The 1 only downside I found - "Reception open 4pm-9pm with staff available" which wasn't the case when we stayed as no staff were available on reception unless called. HOWEVER, when I called (contact numbers on the door) about the possibility of checking in early as we arrived well before check in, the member of staff I spoke to was incredibly helpful, came to let us in early with no extra charge, showed us around & how the fob entry system works. Overall I would highly recommend! Thank you for a beautiful stay!"
