Everything was fine. The breakfast chef called in sick but the hotel dealt with it well and soon got a stand-in chef. Nice hotel calm peaceful atmosphere and very helpful friendly staff.

Everything was spot on, welcoming, courteous and friendly. The young man even asked if we had enjoyed Christmas Day with our family. The room was spotless and comfortable. There was even fresh milk available.

Staff were great. Nice room (was a little cold when we arrived ( had 3 external walls) so we were given an extra heater, which we were grateful for). Parking easy. Breakfast plentiful and dinner choices very good. Loved the coffee machine and refill station with extra touch of biscuits/treats. All the staff were very polite and helpful. Quiet site as outside of term time, so no students about.
