"Very nice hotel for our specific needs during our 1 night stay in late Dec 2025. Spacious and clean room for three people. Decor gives you a sense of Albania with dominant wood design as well as modern features. Reception was more of a host than a staff member as he accompanies you to your room to make sure that everything is in order and if you have any questions. He is welcoming, friendly, humble, and extremely hard working. Not a buffet style breakfast but an individual plate with more than enough variety of fruit/vegetable/hot items to get you started exploring the city. I do compare this hotel to the 2.5/3 star hotels in United States. I chose this hotel because of the ~10 walking from main bus terminal location. This is important to me. I could have chose a hotel closer to old bazaar or castle but walking up the steep cobble stone roads with luggage is not what I wanted. A supermarket on location is an added plus for my family if we needed to buy any snacks or drinks. Now for the negative experience which can be avoided is if you know that you will arrive earlier than 2pm check-in, call hotel as the host may not be on location despite what Orbitz says. This may help you drop off luggage to explore and not wait. Maybe during summer this doesn’t exist. Secondly, during colder off season months, our room heating did not work fast when started at 10C and took 12 hours of continuous heating to reach 20C. So maybe call host to preheat room before check-in."

The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which was perfect for planning our days and staying connected. The location couldn’t be better—close to all the main attractions yet peaceful enough to enjoy a restful night. Honestly, this was one of the best hotel stays we’ve ever had. We can’t wait to come back! "

"Careful: Front desk will try to trick you and charge you more The area is breath-taking, the weather was awesome. Breakfast was good, and the staff there were nice people Front desk person was not nice: the front desk person tried to take money from us without due right. We requested a late checkout, and he checked with the manager and told us that we have until 1pm, and if we stay 1 minute longer we would have to pay 20 Euros per room (we had 5 rooms), and we were down 12:45pm to make sure we do not exceed the allowed time, and then he requested 20 Euros per room because we stayed beyond 12pm (the original checkout time). When we told him that he allowed us to stay until 1pm, he lied and said that I told you this was for a charge, when we insisted, he said, I have cameras monitoring the lobby and everything is recorded, and when we insisted to see the video to prove that he told us that we will be charged for the the extra hour, he just said: never mind, I will just not charge you."
