The hospitality and service were exceptional throughout our stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and there was a real warmth and personal touch that made us feel more like guests in someone’s home than simply customers at a hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful. It has so much traditional Gjirokastër character, with stunning woodwork, furnishings and local touches that give you a real sense of the history and culture of the city. At the same time, everything was spotlessly clean, comfortable and very well looked after. The location is fantastic and perfect for exploring Gjirokastër, particularly if you want to experience the atmosphere and charm of the old town. A special mention has to go to the breakfast. Everything was freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. Sitting down together as a family to a generous, home cooked traditional breakfast was one of those simple experiences that made our stay particularly memorable. We travelled as a family with our young children and were made to feel completely at home. The kindness and genuine hospitality we received made a huge difference. If you are visiting Gjirokastër and want somewhere authentic, traditional, exceptionally clean and genuinely welcoming, Hotel Boutique Ergjeria is a fantastic choice. A beautiful place"
