"Hotel itself is OK but the room I was in wasnโ€™t great at all - the air con (or heating block) started to work at 6am with unbearable noise (that lasted till at least 7am, by when my Saturday morning hopeful long sleep was ruined). At night, as it is top floor, while I expected no one walking on top of my ceiling, it seems to be noisy with running animals (seagulls or rodents I donโ€™t know) above the ceiling at midnight, which is a bit scary. Bed is very high by European standard and room is compact size. But I have to say front desk concierge was helpful with storing bags and pointing me at accessible toilet when the main one was cleaning in progress."

"The overall appearance and experience within the hotel was excellent. The staff were good and helpful even if the barman made for awkward company. Sadly the spa facilities were a bit hit and miss with the sauna not really being up to temperature and the steam room being intermittent with its operation. This wouldโ€™ve been okay if guests had unlimited spa hours and we couldโ€™ve worked around. But with only two 2 hour slots in the day within which to use the spa and for those two hour slots to be intermittent because of the immunity time it was slightly disappointing but a good stay nonetheless."
