This is the second time we have stayed at this property and already booked to come back again.
Everything you need for a pleasant stay.
Free parking is also a bonus.
Just a few minutes away from the showground where they hold antique fairs.
Jeff is an excellent host and cooks amazing meals.
Looking forward to going back again soon.
The welcome was very warm and friendly, the atmosphere charming and breakfast set me up nicely for a long motorbike ride.

Lovely boutique style pub/hotel. Clean, comfortable, compact bedrooms. Ideally situated for Shepton Mallet and the showground. Will definitely be staying there again.

I was given a warm welcome. The room was as expected with a comfortable bed and clean facilities. Good choice of courses for evening meal. The food was hot and delicious. Room was clean and warm and I had a good sleep. Breakfast was delicious. I chose the full English which was very tasty. Would recommend the Inn.
We were visisting Glastonbury and booked into here
Great stay here in Shepton, good choice of drinks and meals..
Rooms were set out nice and airy, view of surrounding area in our rooms ...
Couldn’t have asked for better hosts 👍
Breakfast was average, room was comfortable but a bit dirty around room, shower was cold but only to find out the merging switch needs time to heat. Giving the inn was out in the country it wasnt at all bad. Value for money definitely. The host was welcoming and accommodated our wishes & choices in Breakfast
Needed a single night stay for a local training day. Staff were lovely and accommodating and the room was perfectly clean. Breakfast was also included.
An excellent and pretty property with everything you could need in the room.
The host was exceptional in making us feel welcome and cooking delicious breakfasts and evening meals.
We will definitely stay there again next time we’re visiting the showground for the antique fair as it is situated so close to it.
From the moment we arrived we felt welcome. Asked for a quiet room at the back and got one. Excellent location for our needs and the breakfast was very good. Would definitely return.
Jeff the owner was outstanding and could not have done enough for me, excellent, very friendly. Great stop over before an interview. Great breakfast included in the price, would defiantly stay again.
Friendly pub with good accommodation. A bit noisy at times from the road and people leaving very early.
Breakfast was lovely and included in price

The staff were very accommodating and hospitable.
We were late arriving, rang to let them know an ETA (9.30pm) and enquired if they were still serving food, they informed us that they had stopped serving food around 8 pm, but that they would cook for us on arrival, which was ideal (particularly for a family of 4, all hungry and tired)!
The food and beer were good. Couldn't fault it.
The pub and accommodation are very characterful. Parts of the building are over 500 years old. It may not be for everyone, but for our one-night stay, it was ideal.
The room was quite cold (this was late December, after all), but the heaters in the room(s) soon warmed us up.
We all enjoyed a hearty cooked breakfast in the morning, with good tea and coffee. Again, the staff were very attentive and gave us lots of options.
The only negative was a broken blind in the bathroom, which was situated next to the car park...it didn't feel fully private! All in all, a pleasant experience and stay.
