"Reading reviews, I was leary. Comparing my experience to the reviews, you can’t beat the price and goes to show for me that reviews are nice but I’m glad I only read them after I booked. (Which I would typically read reviews first and not sure why I didn’t this time tbh.) We had a 10/10 overall experience at a great price. The hotel lobby is nice, new and appeared clean. We had a top floor room and it was completely fine. Bed comfy. No noises that kept me awake. Brought my own pillow so can’t attest to theirs. Blankets/sheets comfy and clean. The bathroom flooring and shower just needs updated IMO but it didn’t affect our stay. The reviews state as well as the email from the hotel after booking that there is a limited continental breakfast, but we slept in too long and missed it however at 9am departure, I smelled bacon so I can’t assume it was all that bad? but I can’t say for sure. Staff was very friendly, efficient, polite. Parking easy. Seems like a fine area, a block from the Capitol. The closest parking lot was full when we arrived back to the hotel for the night but we got upfront street parking. I’d stay again."
