"We stayed one night when the property was experiencing unprecedented circumstances due to the lightning strike. E-mail was sent ahead of our arrival to let us know that the elevator, wi-fi and TVs would not be working. These are not deal breakers for us as long as the AC is still working which we called the hotel to confirm. We were happy that indeed the AC and hot water worked just fine.
Kudos to the front desk lady and another gentleman for being so nice and helpful that night. We were given free bottles of water and cafe vouchers for the following morning. They also offered to carry our luggage to our 3rd floor room.
The property itself is in a very good location, near highway 94. Easy access to go to FireKeepers Casino. Just 2 minutes drive from the hotel, there is shopping plaza where Best Buy, Kohls, and many stores are with plenty of dining options.
We'll definitely consider staying here again en route to Chicago."
