Shima Onsen Kashiwaya Ryokan
Staff was incredibly professional and super nice and welcoming. Even though our arrival was delayed and after checking time, we notified the hotel by mail and there was no issue. We even made it for dinner which was amazing! Can’t wait to be back. Thanks to everyone for all your hard work :)

Hotel was average (typical hard beds and dated decor) but great ski in-out location with connection to adjacent Kagura/Tashiro resort. The view from the Dragondola is stunning and snow quality good. Holiday Villa Hotel & Resort Karuizawa
The quiet was lovely and peaceful. Breakfast was delicious and abundant. Beds were comfy. A little too warm upstairs but cooled off in the night. Disappointed the pool was already closed in late August but we still really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful scenery. Highly recommend! the
