"Perfect central location to visit Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, the seaside and Bath. The accommodation was extremely well maintained and presented. A quiet location situated within a riding school, so perfect for those with an interest in horses but not affected by it being a working stable. The kitchen was particularly well equipped with good quality pots, pans and crockery and the host even provided washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, tea, coffee, milk and even cake! A very nice...

"It's not a bad place. But filthy carpets were the main disappointment & filthy smoke butts outside the main door up stairs. Was there for 3 days, not once did I see anybody do any cleaning or replenish towels or tea & coffee. That's why it wasn't value for money. The owner should put more effort into the place, instead of just taking the money."

"My partner and I really enjoy staying here, it's always our go to. The staff are helpful and polite and the breakfast is consistently good. Our only complaint is the lack of air con. During our last stay it was about 27c outside and we're only provided with a sub par fan. We have air con units in our home so we didn't sleep well during our stay as it was far too hot. Unfortunately this will probably stop us from staying here in the summer in future."
