"This was the third time we stayed at the Brickhouse Inn. There were some changes since our last visit. In the past, breakfast had been included with your stay. This time they offer grab and go food that included pastries, cookies, cereals, coffees and teas or you can reserve a seat for a sit down breakfast at an additional price. We just did the grab and go breakfast. Another addition is the offering of multiple tours which can be purchased at the inn rather than having to go into Gettysburg and find them yourself.
Our room was very comfortable and quiet. The rooms remind me of "visiting Grandma's house." Staff was attentive and very helpful. The champaign "greet and meet" at 5 was a nice way to meet your neighbors. On the first floor there are areas to sit and chat, board games and a small gift shop. Unfortunately we had a rainy stay, but the backyard has a fire pit, hot tub and some games. Of course the ample porch has rocking chairs to sit and people watch. Location is fantastic. Right in the middle of so many small stores, restaurants and sightseeing opportunities. We love the location because there are so many things to do within walking distance. This will not be our final visit!"
"Our stay was fine. The hotel & room was clean, so that is most important & appreciated. The front desk staff was nothing to commend, they were just there. No refridgerator in the room was an inconvenience. Ice & refillable water stations only on specific floors was an inconvenience.
The One Lincoln bar was great & Lisa & Leo were the stars of our visit with their warm welcome & excellent service. We will be sure to come sit at the bar again when we return to Gettysburg, just to see them!"
"Great staff for taking care of adjusting our room for my wife that needed a walk in shower. The gentleman that kept the breakfast room full of food for breakfast, and also kept the area cleaned. Thanks also to the cleaning staff. I would Definitely stay here again."
"Traveling home after a 10-day trip and needed to get some sleep. Quickly choose this hotel and so glad we did! This is one of the nicest and cleanest hotels we have ever stayed in! Huge selection on the free breakfast! The room was so nice, and the entire hotel was super CLEAN!! Hand sanitizers and sanitizing wipes were everywhere! The staff was the best!! This is a halfway point for us when we travel to see our family, and we will be stopping here in the future! Thank you! "
