"The pool, hot tub and waterslide was a hit with the kids and kept at a good temperature. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. Overall the hotel was good but breakfast was a bit of a disaster with people waiting for over 30-40 minutes to have any of the hot foods, and then told afterwards they ran out and it was nearing the end of the time. Unacceptable when a hot breakfast buffet is what you are expecting and paying for. The staff looked frantic and annoyed when people asked where the food was. That was the only disappointing part."

"The Riding fool was perfect for our little family! Comfy beds, very clean facilities, great smelling towels and soaps in the washrooms, excellent common room with games and pool table, great place to meet people…and a place to store and fix our bikes to to it off! Common kitchen area with everything. And in central Cumberland where we could walk to everything. We will definitely be back! But for longer:) Thank you so much!!"

"Very nice room with a balcony that overlooks a lake. We got to watch some busy beavers near shore. That was a very nice surprise. On the downside... very limited front desk support, no ice, restaurant was closed and the little atore/café across the street had short hours."
