We had a lovely stay in the gypsy caravan.
The site was very peaceful and well appointed, and set up to enable each pitch to feel private.
The gypsy caravan is in a secluded part of the site which meant we felt we were alone in the world (just what we wanted)
I would say that, while overall lovely and cosy the gypsy caravan’s bed isn’t really suitable for taller people (my partner is 6’3” and couldn’t get close to lying flat). At 5’3” I was very comfortable except for him having to lie diagonally 😆.
Next time we’re planning to book a yurt - and yes, we are intending to go back. Would thoroughly recommend.
It was a proper relaxing out door experience, will be returning one day

A slice of heaven
This place was a dream. We got a warm welcome and a tour round the site from Swampy and then settled into our gypsy van for the weekend. The van was warm with electricity and a kettle.
We made use of the firepit outside to stargaze at night and the cooking stove to make coffee.
We saw pheasant, robins and a woodpecker on site and buzzards and red kites in the skies above.
We really felt at home here and would definitely come back.
We visited right after two major storms which probably wasn't the easiest time for a camp site. Our accommodation and the glamping facilities were clean and warm despite it being 5 degrees outside and raining. Had no issues locating everything with the instructions provided prior to our visit. The local pub was a touch on the pricey side but food and atmosphere were both great and was just about the right distance to walk off the huge portions on the way back.
Stayed in bell tent. Clean and well set up. Hard to sleep as they let so much light in. Amenities were nice but a long way from the tent for this reason i wouldnt stay there again.
