"Our room was stunning, with wood panelling from floor to ceiling. It was very spacious, and the bathroom had a clawfoot soaker tub and separate ultramodern shower. Although we were in a 19th century farmhouse, it was very thoughtfully renovated, complete with central AC, which was a nice touch. The continental breakfast was fairly simple but decent, with many healthy options such as fresh fruit and vegetables, yogurt, bread, cheese, and yogurt.
The chandelier lighting in the bedroom was very dim, which made it hard to see in the evenings. While the bedside lamps were extremely bright, they didn't make up for the dim surroundings. Also, it would be good to leave a small bottle of milk and plant milk in the shared fridge once breakfast is over so that guests can add that to their tea or coffee during the rest of the day or evening.
Apart from that, we had a wonderful stay. It was very quiet, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back again in the future."
"Lovely stay! The apartment is beautiful and the area is breathtaking. Would definitely recommend staying here. The only downside currently is that since the site is under construction still it is not the easiest to walk the dogs on the property."
"We spent three days at the hotel while I was in Victoria for a medical procedure. We found the hotel very restful, very clean and within an easy drive of the hospital and downtown Victoria."
"The rooms were unique, there was a fire place and living area, little coffee bar with Nespresso coffee and organic tea. The decor was updated and it didn't feel like a hotel room, it was enjoyable and relaxing. The furniture was modern and the bed was extremely comfortable. We had a room on the 1st floor with a deck, we watched the moonlight on the ocean and sunrise in the morning. It is a true place of relaxation."
"This B & B was very good but for the price point, we expected better. The view was very good and the patio quaint, but beyond the patio, the greenery was quite unkept. We did enjoy the brambly trail down though for a great trail walk. Inside it was nice and clean and the breakfast foods that were left was very sufficient. It was other little things, synthetic towels that didn’t dry your body off, synthetic sheets that didn’t breathe and you felt too warm under them, no bedside tables and no vanity for toiletries and a very small shower. If we had paid 100$ less, I would consider giving it all 4-5 stars. "
