The hotel is in an well-preserved old building. Location was quite near of the touristic center. The room was much smaller than the 30 sqm that the web page (Expedia) informed. Bulky furniture at both sides of the bed made a difficult access. Bathroom was tiny ( standing in the middle and streching your arms you can touch opposite walls). Some things as the toilet lid were broken. The room faced a beautiful courtyard, that was also a restaurant with live music until 11 pm.

We stayed here 1 night. Very charming, traditional old house converted to a hotel. Main building built in the 1600’s. Well decorated, comfy beds, updated bathroom with shower. We stayed in the main house but there are newer units across the pretty courtyard/restaurant that look similar in style. The main house has tons of antiques and furniture as well as looms and traditional items. We stayed in the oldest room in the house and it was really pretty. We ate lunch and breakfast in the courtyard. Also, had a nightcap there. Walking distance to pretty much everything but the castle. Also about 4 blocks from the main city center/pedestrian walk with shops and restaurants. It is definitely on the tour bus circuit, but they handle the crowds pretty efficiently and it never interfered with our stay except for a bit of a wait for meals. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent hotel, close to the town center. Gives you a very good sense of traditional Albanian food, culture and hospitality. The atmosphere is fantastic and the rooms and well decorated. We loved our stay.

Lovely historical place, enjoyed our room, comfortable, nice decor and plenty hot water. The restaurant is so beautiful and unique and has good food. All the staff were very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again!

I really enjoyed staying at Hotel Tradita. It is a beautiful, old hotel built in the 1600s, but has been nicely updated to include every bit of 21st century comfort. The hotel was clean, comfortable, had a good restaurant, and the staff were very friendly and spoke good english. When I go to northern Albania again I will definitly stay book my hotel and stay here.

10/10! Amazing stay in a charming old hotel. Rooms were comfortable, well equipped and quirky. Staff were amazing always so willing and helpful. Restaurant was delicious… and all in a lovely secluded terrace setting in close proximity to key areas of town. Highly recommend :)

Authentic hotel like a museum. Breakfast was very good. But parking was not okey. Vale hit my car at night. I realized next day. Out of this hotel was great personal was helpful and kind.

Sehr schön traditionelles Hotel, Zimmer sind neu renoviert, sehr leckeres tradiontelles Brot vom Grill, kann man selbst zu schauen wunderschöner Innenhof und tolles Frühstück würden das Hotel selbst wieder auswählen, absolut empfehleswert!

Great food and staff

Excellent stay in Shkoder. The food is amazing and the staff are very helpful. Free parking on site and we left our car for a few days to travel to Lumi shales and Valbone. Highly recommend.

Très bel hôtel, dont une partie date de 1694, typique et rempli d’objets anciens qui attirent la curiosité. La cour intérieur est ravissante où se trouve le restaurant ( excellent d’ailleurs). A 7-8 minutes à pied du centre avec un parking. Au niveau de la chambre, c’est joli, avec une décoration typique mais n’attendez pas au grand luxe; la literie est correcte sans plus, et la salle de bain pareil ( juste fonctionnelle mais les portes de la douche peuvent tomber entre vos mais ). Prévoyez ou demandez une bouteille d’eau pour la chambre. Le petit déjeuner est excellent et le cadre est agréable au réveil En revanche, le service est très bien et tout le monde est attentionné et au petit soin Mais ça reste une très bonne adresse pour découvrir la ville.

My wife and I loved this place. An oasis of charm in a drab city. Great restaurant featuring wood burning oven. Charming courtyard with live music on weekends. Service was outstanding. Room was small but clean and comfy. TV was broken and room safe wasn’t bolted down. Those are the only complaints. Property is renovated 17c building with photos and antiques displayed. WiFi was fine. Good coffee. Full bar and meal service in the courtyard or inside. 5m walk to the pedestrian mall/ center. Book it!
