"As we were visiting a number of attractions in the area we wanted to stay overnight in Shrewsbury. We are so pleased to have chosen the Riverside. It was well located for our needs, the room we had was spacious and very comfortable. Whilst it did not benefit from air conditioning, there was a good sized fan in the room. All staff were friendly and helpful. We had drinks in the garden at the rear of the property which benefited from stunning views of the River Severn. Breakfast was very good. Piping hot and the lady (sorry I didn’t get her name) was wonderful. Very cheery and couldn’t do enough to make our breakfast experience as lovely as possible. The whole package was great value and if ever we are looking to stay in the area again, we wouldn’t hesitate to return to the Riverside Inn"

"The peace, and quiet of the room, Was a large room, everything we needed. The staff were very nice, and friendly at check in. The complimentary biscuits, and water bottles was a nice touch to the room. Didn’t eat there, but the smells coming from the kitchen was delightful when was leaving the building, Great location, and price. Overall this place is excellent, will Definitely be coming back when visiting Shrewsbury again 👍"

"The hotel is dated and needs an uplift. It’s a shame with it having so much character but I expect if it was it would have cost us more to stay there. Towels were nice and white. It’s a great location even though we were only staying one night as we’d driven from Devon en-route to north Wales. The only problem that could arise is the parking (£5 a day) is very limited! We arrived around 3pm to find 2 spaces which were quickly filled. We would stay there again"

"We had an overnight stay..the staff were very friendly and helpful.The room was lovely,a nice size.Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was also a good size,shower was good.Not overally powerful but okay. I would certainly stay again"
