Please ask for Indu to pick you up and drive you around in either his spacious van or locally tuk tuk. He also has a small store nearby with a lovely helpful family. He is a gentleman.
The host family are just beautiful people. Nothing is too much trouble.
The rooms are extremely comfortable and well appointed.
The views are breathtaking.
They also cooked dinner for us one night - which was superb.

"Sanjaya went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable stay. He provided a takeaway breakfast at 4.45am when we wanted to go to Horton Plains and always made sure we were okay. Lovely secluded stay!"

"Sehr schönes Hotel in einer alten Teefabrik. Herausragend war die Freundlichkeit des Personals. Das Essen war herrvorragend und die Zimmer sehr sauber. Wir bekamen eine Führung in der Teefabrik wo uns der Teeprozess erklärt und gezeigt wurde. Auch eine Wanderung wurde angeboten. Alles in allem nur zu empfehlen!! Bei der Hinfahrt ist es besser nach dem Weg zu fragen. Google maps führt woanders hin. "
"Beautiful tranquil villa on a picturesque mountainside. Very clean, open villa with amazing Infinity pool, rainforest showers and dining area. Fantastic view of mountains, tea plantation and rapids. "Overall I am quite happy with my stay. Read about the water pressure problem in the reviews and was a little apprehensive at first. Turns out the water pressure was very good, at least in the 2 rooms my and my friend were staying in. Some room for improvement in the administration but I'm sure it will be better the next time I visit the hotel. I'll likely stay again when I come to the area again. "
"We had a lovely one night stay at Ferncliff, it was just lovely and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend as a very well run ‘b&b’ type hotel but much more luxurious. Bernard in particular was fantastic, especially his cooking — we had both dinner and breakfast there. Very glad we chose this over the ‘grand hotel’ in the end. "

This is a great little sanctuary nestled just off the main road as you head into town from Kandy.
Clear directions provided prior to arrival, quick check-in and warm welcome provided. The 2 story villa is cosy and comfortable with all necessary amenities provided including coffee machine, microwave, fridge, usb speaker, sofa, dining table, crockery and cutlery.
The bathroom has a wow factor and the beds were super comfortable. We stayed as a family of 4 and definitely big enough for us.
Last of all, what a spread for the breakfast delivered in the morning (photo provided)! Highly recommend Luxe Wilderness. 🙌
P.S. if you have a driver, they can help out with cheap accommodation close by. "

"we had a lovely time in Galway Heights. We really liked the location in a small rural road close to a hindu temple and small village and in the tea plantations. Breakfast was very nice, and the staff very attentive. The only grievance was the lack of elevator. We would definitely recommend this."
