Wenchi Lake is amazing! Incredible hikes in the crater. The Eco Lodge is situated beautifully by the lake, the tukuls are all you can wish for (as long as the water is running..); perfectly clean, lovely deco, breathtaking views.

The surroundings and the lake are breathtaking. Rooms are nice. Clean. The staff are generally very courteous but could benefit from some training. Breakfast buffet with made to order egg options was excellent but the lunch/dinner menu is bloated and over ambitious with many of the items not even available. My suggestion would be to keep it simple with traditional Ethiopian food choices and very few general easy to make non-Ethiopian dishes for variety.
