The room was clean and was organized well but the room smelled absolutely terrible. It had an odor that was like a combination ofmoth balls & horrible incenses! But the staff was very helpful. The room was simply put together and share bathrooms, clean. It will be amazing location for people who just want to spend the night somewhere on a cheap budget.

We loved the location, which for us was close proximity to our family members in the neighborhood, as well as many great restaurants, subway access and WTC site. We really like this hotel. Staff is great and room was very clean.
Our only complaint is the AC in the room is very strong and when it turned on it blew directly on the bed area. It did a great job cooling, but could be quite chilly and when it turned off it was too hot with the comforter. A lightweight blanket would be a great addition to the available linens in the room.

We had a great stay at RIU Plaza Manhattan Times Square. The location was perfect and made it so easy to walk to so many of the places we wanted to see. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and a great home base for exploring New York City. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we really enjoyed the breakfast with lots of options to start the day. Even though it’s right in the middle of such a busy area, we found the hotel comfortable and convenient. We would definitely stay here again on another trip to
