Spotless,location next to Exhibition centre Sajam,perfect for business people. Staff friendly and particularly young manager Nikolina always happy to help and handle any customers requests. "Hotels.com reviews are usually bang on, so I don’t know how Hotel Putnik got a 9. I knew when I walked into this hotel that we were in trouble. The lobby was filthy, dilapidated and painfully dated. Our first room was filthy, had disintegrating walls, no light switch or plug plates and the fridge didn't work. I asked to me moved as we needed a working fridge. The second room was just as bad. The walls were scuffed, filthy and had a huge greasy stain on it like someone had thrown their dinner on the wall. The bed sheets were ripped. There was a sagging spot on the floor. The showerhead was broken, the shower leaked terribly and there was mildew all over the shower. Our stay included breakfast at the filthy restaurant, but it was so greasy, salty and bad that we ate out the second morning. The location is great and the staff try their best, but this place is a squalid dump. I don't know how they haven't been condemned. It's the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Check the Google reviews for a better sense of how bad the hotel is."

"This is a hub for local gangsters who shut the restaurant down for one man to have lunch, while bodyguards roam the lobby and the parking lot and they on the sidewalk. The employees are all terrified, and it just makes for not a great atmosphere. "

"Everything was great! The staff were amazing: friendly, helpful, and always welcoming. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Breakfast was really good with plenty of options. I would definitely stay here again!"
