"It is a older hotel but in general it was ok. It was fairly quiet but we were on the top floor at the end of hall which probably helped. The room was fairly clean. There was a small stain on our sheets and the housekeeping staff was quick at replacing the sheets. There is no a/c in the room but it was not extremely hot outside as it was April. You could only open the windows slightly for fresh air and there was a fan in the room. So we manage to keep the room at a decent temperature. I can imagine in the summer being really hot without a/c. Staff was helpful. Price is relatively high for what it is but I guess you pay to be in Victoria."

"Breakfasts were lovely and plentiful, parking was easy and convenient! Very impressive heritage building, but all the flights of stairs too difficult to manage. We only had a bathtub, which was pretty inconvenient. Decor needs upgrading. Rachel, the manager, was so lovely and also very helpful. "

"Underground parking included was a blessing. Amenities in room were excellent. Great location downtown near the waterfront was very walkable to restaurants and bars. "

"It's a comfortable place to stay for the price. It's in a business district so not a lot around. That being said, Chinatown is a 20 minute walk, there's a few restaurants within a 5 minute walk. It's pretty basic, no coffee in the lobby. I definitely would stay again especially for the price."

"Such a great find! We had a room with a small kitchen (fridge/ freezer, oven, stovetop, microwave, dish drainer). All the needed pots, pans, etc. This was a great option for traveling with kids. We were able to eat a couple meals at the hotel, refill water bottles and pack snacks for our adventures. There are 2 grocery stores within a 10 minute walk. "
