wonderful, full of character, quirky, not a straight wall ceiling or floor to be found, it was like going back in time. The shared bathroom was no problem as there is also washing facilities in room. Very friendly and efficient service with excellent breakfast

Our room was perfect for our stay as we wanted twin bed room and had everything needed for our over night stay. We did not stay for breakfast as we we had to travel on early next day but the tea we had in the garden was lovely. The thatched guest house was in easy access for walks & visit to Sidmouth. Cosy clean traditional Bed and Breakfast

Lovely homely traditional B&B in beautiful historic thatched cottage. Fantastic location for Sidmouth, Seaton and Lyme Regis. Lovely full english breakfast with perfectly cooked fried eggs, real butter for the toast, and amazing homemade marmalade. Friendly and helpful host.

Idyllic B & B in a great location.

Always have an amazing stay at Southern Cross Guest House. You’re always made to feel very welcome and the rooms are so comfortable and there’s everything you need. Breakfast is absolutely delicious too. Such is in a great location for Sidmouth and its idyllic boutique shops and the wonderful donkey sanctuary too.
