Our interaction with the staff (reception, restaurant and maintenance) was great. The facilities are good, but as they are older, they need attention. Pool area is highlight of the hotel. Breakfast buffet was perfect for the time we were there.

Amazingly comfortable place

Amazingly comfortable place. We didn't want to leave. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and clean, and the restaurant food was great.

Nice hotel close to the center and to the temples. Wide and new rooms, but the other asian guests sometimes should be noisy. Very kind staff always ready to help you.

Lovely little hotel which has an authentic feeling

If you want a true tropical Cambodian hotel then I strongly recommend this hotel. Although there is a large difference in the quality of rooms whilst paying the same price they are both up to a good standard and the hotel grounds are amazing

From the moment I booked in until the time I left, everything was first class. The rooms are spacious. The restaurant was superb and the food was delicious and beautifully presented. the staff is so pleasant and helpful.

Good hotel not far away from the city center and pub street in Siem Reap. Only 3 minutes by tuk tuk. The room looked quite okay and the breakfast was good with various selection. The swimming pool was very clean and fresh with a pool bar.

Truly Charming

Great value hotel with great attentive and helpful staff. They provides free pick up service with nice driver. and free transfer to City Center as the hotel is a bit far away. Lovely swimming pool with pool bar and a very good place to relax after tired day tour. Huge and comfortable room with private balcony and view to the pool. We really enjoyed staying at this little paradise. We will recommend this hotel to all our friend and family.

Great Hotel!

The room was fantastic, very comfortable and I honestly didn't want to leave the hotel at times! Everything was a good condition and the staff were very nice. The balcony was very small but with such a high standard of the room you don't need it. I would suggest getting a Tuk Tuk from the road instead of the hotel as it would be more expensive. Overall great stay! :)

Great hotel with wonderful staff and food

Residence Indochine was a very friendly, charming hotel about 1km outside Siem Reap town, easily reachable by a $1-2 tuk tuk. This was not a problem as we received a free tuk tuk to the city once a day. The rooms were clean and spacious and the pool area was a lovely relaxing place to come back to after a busy day of sight seeing. Every staff member was so friendly and welcoming and we felt right at home on our stay at the hotel. I'd definitely recommend Residence Indochine to anyone going to Siem Reap who wants a quiet place to relax at the end of the day with friendly and helpful staff.

It is truly a Paradise

Luxury hotel with a budget price. This place is really well worth it. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful and will do anything they can to make you feel comfortable. Although it's not downtown it only takes about 5 to 10 mins by tuk tuk to get to the night market/ pub street. Everyone guest who arrived after us had a look of happy surprise as the actual hotel is even better than the photos. Will definitely come back and highly recommend to all traveler.

Best customer service

I love the service, they are attentive 24/7. Super friendly and helpful anytime. The breakfast was the best, because it was not buffet style and very big portion. I recommend everyone to include breakfast with their accommodation. Even tho some have limited English, they will find a way to find the answer for you.

There is a lot to like about this hotel but we moved rather than staying on because the bed was rock hard, there were no bedside lamps, we tried to get an extra 2 pillows & they only had one. It feels like money has understandably been tight & needs to be spent. We adored the garden, staff, pool area & restaurant; these are really outstanding

Staffs are helpful and polite. Room is clean but many mosquitoes. A place to stay if you are looking for quietness as hotel is about 10 mins ride from pub street. Water from shower is disappointing. Very little water and not warm

Stunning oasis only 5 mins from Pub Street

I had the most amazing stay here. I cannot shout from the rooftops loud enough how much I love everything about this hotel. The staff are the kindest, most service orientated people I've ever met. My every whim was entertained at a great price and with love and speed. Nothing was too much for them and they had every possibility already catered for. The rooms were clean and super comfortable with all the "mod-cons". Free tuk tuk to and from the airport and town centre was just the sweetener. I would recommend sending an email to the hotel for the hotel pick up a few days before you arrive.

Nice hotel, location not ideal.

Airport pickup did not materialise, even though we had sent email the day before. Taxis from the airport charge 40% more than the standard rate, as this place is 1.2 kms from town..... Then, the taxi could not find the hotel. In fact, in three nights there, two tuk-tuk drivers out of three could not find it...... Staff were extremely courteous and helpful. Food is pretty good. Quiet, considering it is beside a major road. Room was large, shower was good.

Extremely Accommodating, GREAT Service!

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the service was excellent and accommodating. We had originally planned on checking in around 8:30pm on a Friday night, but our flight got delayed several hours, so I called the hotel and they were very accommodating. There was someone waiting for us to check us in when we arrived (close to midnight), and was even able to arrange for us an early morning pickup (4:30am) to see the Angkor Wat complex at sunrise (~30 min car ride, $20 for the driver to take us there, wait for us to explore a few hours, and drive us back). When we arrived back at the hotel, we decided to sleep as much as we could before checkout at noon (we only slept 3-4 hours the night before), and the man at the front desk said it would be fine if we wanted to check out at 1:00pm instead. Once we checked out at 1:00pm, we still had several hours to kill before our flight out, and the hotel let us keep our bags at the front desk until we were ready to go to the airport. They then arranged for a tuktuk to take us where we wanted to go for the afternoon, then back to the hotel to pick up our bags, and then to the airport (~30 min away). It was extremely efficient and affordable ($14 for the entire tuktuk service). All in all, we had a very pleasant experience, and would definitely stay here again (for longer next time).
