"Desde el principio la comunicación con el personal ha sido hostil. Hicieron caso omiso de mis peticiones. En una localidad donde no hay servicios, tienen inhabilitado el microondas. No se puede calentar ni un vaso de agua para hacer una infusión. El bar restaurante cerrrado todos los días. Ausencia de personal. "This is a roadside hotel attached to a restaurant with some nice areas to sit and relax. The owner and staff were super friendly, and the rooms were nice and clean. There was no air conditioning, but they provided two fans that did the job. We spent most of our time visiting Pamplona and Vitoria, so we mainly used the hotel as a place to sleep. Overall, we had a very good experience at Aritzalko. Recommended!"

The Social Hub San Sebastián

10/10 Excellent

"Overall an excellent option for accommodation just a 25min walk outside of the old town. The facilities are fantastic for the money. The rooftop pool and bar is great, the pool is narrower then the pictures make out, but a good length to get a good morning swim under your belt. Only blip we had our shower flooded due to the plug it draining. That said, the staff dealt with it quickly and offered us extra towels. Parking is every man for himself with what ever is available on the street outside the hotel or surrounding streets within the blue and green lined parking spaces."

"Lovely hotel that’s centrally located for exploring San Sebastián by foot - the beach is less than 5 minutes, the regional train station is less than 10 minutes, and Old Town is less than 20 minutes. The staff was also very helpful - they let me check in early, upgraded my room, and borrow beach towels. I’d happily stay there again!"

"A lovely hotel to stay in while in San Sebastian. The hotel sits high on a hill giving unparalleled views of the city and beach from the rooftop. The hotel maintains a series of elevators and corridors that take you to the bottom of the hill so you can easily access the beach and downtown. There is also a public elevator that takes you directly between the lobby level and the downtown street level. The staff is highly motivated to make the stay a positive one. Rooms are outfitted with beautiful linens and were impecably clean. The restaurant food is tasty. If there are any weaknesses, it is in concierge services, when we asked for a recommended barber, the front desk googled it. When we asked the omelet station for an over medium egg, they suggested getting a sunny-side up egg from the buffet. Overall a wonderful stay."

"First impressions on arrival were 'Wow this place is very nice' The staff were immediately helpful and spoke excellent English. Our room was spotlessly clean and looks like it's been refurbished recently. The bed firm but comfortable. I didn't watch the TV but a large one is there if you need it. The bathroom is quality, the shower absolutely the best. A proper rain shower, I liked very much. Breakfast was superb, great coffee and everything you could want to eat or drink is there for you to take as much as you like. The location is about 50 metres from the sea front where there is a large beach and lovely easy to swim in section of Atlantic coast. All in all this has been one of the best experiences for holidaying. I hope to return."
