"Staff uninterested and unmotivated to help. Lack of English makes it very hard to ask anything. Facilities ordinary with pool area now a concrete jungle with fence around and buildings. Rooms lack toilet paper, towels and smoking allowed in hotel by mainly Chinese guests (Chinese have bought hotel) is disgusting for non smokers. Last time I stay there. "

"Fantastic hotel. Rooms are big and well appointed and very clean. The grounds are beautiful and the pool area simply wonderful. It is set back about 200m from the beach and a10min walk to Otres2. Don't let this put you off as there is a golf buggy shuttle at your disposal all day. You can even arrange pick up up to 10pm every night which is a good idea as the road is dark. "This is my 3rd stay at this Sokha resort & it did not disappoint. Friendly staff, good food (reasonably priced) & exceptional massage. The pool is large, clean & well maintained. Right next to the beach & has a tropical island feel though surrounded by tall buildings. Truly a hidden gem & would definitely return next time I visit Sihanoukville."
