I had a wonderful stay at the Phoenix Hotel Yogyakarta. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality of the staff. Everyone was incredibly attentive, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make the stay memorable.
The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful — a stunning colonial-era building that has been immaculately preserved and maintained. The architecture, elegant details, and timeless atmosphere make it feel like stepping into a different era while still enjoying modern comforts.
A true gem in Yogyakarta, combining history, charm, and exceptional service. I would highly recommend the Phoenix Hotel to anyone looking for a unique and memorable experience.

The hot breakfast choices in bain maries were always cold. Ordered a hamburger for my 10 year old daughter one night in the restaurant and it was covered with hot chilli sauce, she could not eat it.
