"The property is really clean, staff very nice and room very clean. The bed wasn’t as comfortable as other places I have stayed, but also not the worst by far. My only wish is the room and bathroom was bigger, but all in all a great place to stay."

"There was nowhere to park other than a valet out front or public parking next door. When we checked in, we were asked if we needed parking. We needed parking before we walked inside. I asked where we should have parked since there wasn't any and the person at the front desk just stared at his screen and told me there is a valet or public parking next door. To which I asked, "where should we have parked before we came in to be asked if we needed parking?". I didn't get an answer. There should be some sort of signage, or an email or something to tell you where to go before checking in. The construction in the area is 5 blocks in every direction.
The room was great. The bed and pillows weren't. I would book again, knowing what I didn't before."
"We had a very nice time at tge Hilton garden inn. The room was spacious and clean. Staff helped when needed it. Not sure why they dont clean and change towels everyday. That was strange. The manager Lisa was the biggest surprise and help. We ordered room service from the steakhouse Spencer's in the building. And that was a horrible experience.
(Making this clear ( Spencer's Steakhouse is not affiliated with the hotel in anyway!! ) After we ordered it took over 40 minutes to get the food. Only half the dinner showed up and we were told they would bring it right back. The steaks were way over cooked. Wrong items brought. )
The next morning the Hilton manager called because she heard what happened. Explained it was uncalled for and wanted our stay to be excellent and she fixed the dinner. She didnt have to, just did anyway. Thank you very much."
"Excellent hotel right in the middle of so many activities! Just minutes from the Doorly Zoo and the Durham Museum! Also very walkable neighborhood with shopping and dining options everywhere!"
"This was a nice stay. I appreciate the laminate flooring instead of usual hotel carpet. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful."
