"When we got to the hotel, there was an electronic notice that we needed to put in a reservation number and our phone number to get the door code. We put in the reservation information we had from Hotels.com and kept failing so we attempted to call the phone number provided. No one answered we continuously rang the bell for about 15 minutes starting at 10 pm before somebody came to the door. They were very upset and angry with us and claimed that we had received an email from Sage Motel, that would provide us with the correct reservation number to use to access the door code, after giving us the code to the door three minutes after we interacted with the Individual and they provide us the code on a slip of paper. We then received the email from Hotels.com with the correct reservation number. The Individual that answered the door accused us of lying to them. I have the email proving that we received the email 15 minutes after 10 o’clock that night, which was after we started ringing the doorbell and calling the phone number for the person who was on duty. The room itself was in good condition and evidently had recently been remodeled. The Keurig coffee machine was good and so was the coffee that was provided. In fact, the only negative remarks we have are about the difficulty in getting into the room and how rude the employee was when we showed up."
