Truly stylish hotel that creates a sophisticated atmosphere without being stuffy. Great breakfast, and a relaxed happy hour that allowed us to make friends with other guests. Walking distance to everything, very safe area.
Wonderful hotel in a fantastic neighborhood. The staff were professional and helpful, and the room was charming. The entire property exudes classic elegance!
The Duxton Reserve is a great option for a short stay in Singapore. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Rooms are on the smaller side, but the location is perfect for walking around and exploring Singapore. The ride to the airport was really fast and the cost of using Grab for rides to other major tourist destinations was reasonably priced.
A hotel is only as good as the staff and I must say, the Bellmen were amazing! Especially Jamil! He was very sweet and brought us things to make us more comfortable even without asking.
Our selected room came with use of the lounge which included nibbles and cocktails which made the price well worth it for us!
I cannot wait to come back and stay again.
A beautiful hideaway in the middle of Chinatown. Rooms are not huge but are very tastefully done. And they have a great bar in the lobby area! Loved it.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The services of staff is excellent, but the conditions of hotel is very old, the floor you step on make terrible noise, only one chair to sit on. After you took a shower, water is everywhere on the floor.

Rooms are very dark and small. Mine looked nothing like the picture online. That said, it was comfortable and the location was perfect. Lots of good restaurants and shopping - very walkable.
Beautiful hotel in a wonderful location. Great restaurants close by, easy walking to Chinatown. Incredibly nice staff at the hotel making my stay a fantastic experience.
Checked in at 0200 and dropped dead immediately. Woke up to a very nice hotel with lots of history and cool. Too bad there wasn’t a window in the room with any view. Nice minibar and everything you need. If you need to go to the convenience store, there is a 7-11 across the street. Staff very friendly and pointed me to a place nearby for their pool and gym.
Complete disappointment, from the moment I arrived until the moment I checked out.
The room was not ready when I arrived at 3:00 PM and was asked to wait 45 minutes on a chair. No effort was made at any point. Definitely not a 5 star.

The most dingy and most depressing hotel I have ever stayed in during my travels to 60 countries and the fact that I paid nearly £200 a night over 4 nights not good! the depressing dark room was so small with a wood base double bed and bashed my legs every time I walked round bed to get
to toilet! Advertised as last room on Expedia which was not true as only a handful of people in the hotel - no ambience here at all - lesson learnt thank you Expedia!
The photos they publish are fabricated, not real, misleading and deceptive. Attached here one can compare with reality. Rooms are tiny: bed is not ‘king’ as advertised, not even queen size and can only be entered through an opening by the feet (see pic), no space to even walk around the bed. Closet is tiny as well and so is the bathroom without room on the counter for a minimal number of items. No room to open luggage and organize, or anything else for that matter. We offered to pay more for the largest suite of the hotel, but that one had just a second level with a living room area, the bedroom and bathroom where the same size as the one I booked: tiny and insufficient for comfort. Taking the elevator does not mean rolling your luggage to your room, the levels don’t match and you still have to take the stairs. Location is in the intricate streets of Chinatown with very narrow sidewalks and barely room for a car. Employees are polite but they can’t make up for the property shortcomings. Booking through Expedia and choosing ‘pay at property’ having the opportunity to view the room prior to check-in is not real: they charge the full amount of the entire stay days prior to arrival and there is no recourse. We had to move out in a few hours the next morning and forfeit the cost of the entire stay, no recourse. Moved to Intercontinental, great choice. Do yourself a favor and skip this choice of hotel. Location is not near Sands Marina Bay as advertised, you need a taxi.
