Stayed for one night for the period of 19 - 20 March, the room was clean and bright, bed and pillow were comfortable. check-in process was also smooth. however, had mookata set at four points eatery on night of 19 March and was disappointed by the service:
We wanted to order a drink while eating our mookata set midway, so we ordered a thai iced milk tea and lemongrass tea. the preparation countertop at the outdoor seating was visible from our seats. to our horror, we observed another staff (quite skinny, tall, Chinese guy) preparing our drinks unmasked. he took down his mask while he was stirring the drinks (he did that for the drinks order for other tables as well), which we felt was VERY unhygenic especially during COVID. unmasked, he was also talking to another staff while preparing our drinks. what's more shocking was that he used his bare hands (NO GLOVES) to squeeze the lemon into my lemongrass tea, after which he put the squeezed lemon into my drink. upon seeing that, I only took a sip of my drink and decided to throw the rest away. the drink also tasted like ICED LEMON TEA, instead of lemongrass. would really appreciate if the hotel could counsel the staff involved.
Overall, the accommodation portion of our stay was a 4/5. it is definitely a 2/5 for our dinner.
