It’s a handy location for a mid-range hotel. Beds were comfy and facilities basic but everything you need. It’s a bit tired but renovations are underway. The hotel is very close to the MRT and buses, making it easy to get around. Can walk to many places except for the heat and tropical downpours.

Note we booked family room where the bathroom facilies are enclosed by glass walls; privacy was a concern even though there were blinds and frosted glass. Overall a great stay. Good value and no frills. We had adjoining rooms - a queen in one and two twins in another, that felt like one room. Rooms are a bit dated, beds are a bit hard, and yes... there was a slightly musty smell (although you get used to it quickly).
