There are alot of restaurants around the area. Near a bus stop which is good but quite a walk from the nearest MRT station. The room seems old but comfortable. A bit small if you’re carrying bigger luggage but otherwise okay for the value. The water heater and AC work

The first room we were given had a very strong smell of cigarette smoke and was much smaller than what was shown in the pictures. We asked the front desk lady if we could switch rooms because of the smell, but she seemed annoyed with us and not very willing to help. The only option available was a smaller, cheaper room on the first floor. Unfortunately, that room also had a strong, unpleasant smell. Being on the first floor, we could clearly hear the front desk staff talking, as well as other guests coming and going. Overall, I’m really disappointed with this hotel, it was not a comfortable stay.

Hotel 81 Sakura was conveniently located to public transportation, several restaurants. The room was surprisingly quiet, clean and comfortable.

The last Hotel 81 I stayed at was better. Property looked old and the room had cracks and a couple of stains in the ceiling. The hotel staff were good. Bed was very comfortable!
