I love this hotel because of location. There is a mamak stall near to hotel and walking distance to Bugis Street, Hajah Maimunah Restaurant etc. Please make sure the room is always clean before providing to guest.

I loved the small attached restaurant . My room was very, very small and I would rate the comfort of the bed a 3/10. I did not sleep well and that just makes you more tired. The staff barely acknowledges you which I find odd since Singaporeans are so darn friendly. The bathroom was great and having a balcony was great. Where was the pool?

Need to walk more than 10 minutes to the nearest MRT. Staff very friendly and kind. Can storage your luggages there safe. Able to check in even midnight (my flight delay) Price reasonable. Simple breakfast but good enough at this rate

Backpacker/non western authentic option

Located in a vibrant area with lots of authentic character and dining options. No traditional breakfast options on any day so not worth paying for. Not especially welcoming. Room very small and basic, less than travelodge. No fresh water refill. English not really understood. Not really likely to be good for Western Tourists unless backpackers.

Weekend trip

J8 hotel is in a convenient area next to lots of smaller shops (little India and Arab street) so it is good for halal food. The staff are accommodating and allowed us to have an earlier check in which was very convenient. We had a twin size room which was just as pictured, the bed was comfy and everything was clean. Our only complaint is that there was a musky/sweat smell from the room and corridor - but we know it was extremely hot and humid in Singapore so we do not blame the hotel, as soon as the AC was switched on this was fixed.

Breakfast was disappointing. Most of the food was cold even though I was there as soon as it opened. and the selection confusing. No fresh orange juice but oranges cut into quarters!

Not worthful to pay 155 dollers for night. Breakfast was worst. tables was not cleaned, i didnt eat breakfast after visit restaurant.Only one thing i can apprecieate is they call a taxi on my request. Rest almost was worst in this price .
