Fire alarm kept going on while I was sleeping. There was no fire and it was just a false alarm. It kept going on for nearly 30 minutes.

The hotel is not really a hotel it’s a share spot inside a small mall the rooms are ok but AC is controlled by the front desk and they are not working I was with my kids and we were melting down the answers from the staff in general was extremely unjustified and not helpful I believe they don’t care also the lobby area was share with the mall and they practice very loud annoying Events that block the path to the elevator all the time if you travel to Singapore I don’t recommend it at all unless you’re a backpacking person I was with my children’s and the staff it’s lost they misdirected us all the time the provide pure miss information about everything and make you spend time and money I was recommended by them to reserve dinner at the restaurant ce la vie restaurant at the top of the marina bay sand he said that will guarantee the full access to the pool view and terrace I spent $687 American dollars and I couldn’t see ah.?.?.!’ For only $32 Singapore dollars you can access the terraces so I don’t recommend it to anyone specially families with kids it’s horrible place unless you’re a backpacker

Hotel staff very helpful, free breakfast has good options, location very walkable to Hyde park, Australia museum, St Mary’s cathedral , hop on hop off bus stop, all within a 5-15 min walk . Botanical garden , Circular Quay,Sydney opera house also a leisurely 25- 35 minute walk away . Location is also easily accessible by buses and central station to catch trains to blue mountain or Melbourne is a short 10 min Uber ride away

Very convenient location. Supermarket and lots of restaurant choices in the mall below. About 5 minutes walk from City Hall MRT station. The room is clean and very comfortable. We had a long stay and definitely appreciated the well-equipped kitchenette with appliances and fridge ready in our room. Perhaps the only negative comment is the noise from Fire station can sometimes be disturbing during the evening. Otherwise we are very happy with our 3-week stay in Lyf Funan.

Location and staff were great. There were little flies and ants in my room and on my last night the aircon started leaking very loudly. In saying this they where offering pest control spraying for the rooms and when I went down to reception at 5am to say I couldn’t sleep due to the loud dripping of the aircon they gave me another room right away.
