No cleanliness, towel was very old one. Bathroom is not clean. Room is not big comparatively. In photos looks like big. Not recommended

Dated, but clean and reasonable.
Nice helpful staff. Great location. Lots to do within walking distance of hotel. Awesome inexpensive food. Room and building dated but not unexpected, can't complain for the price.

The hotel asked me to use their app to electronically check in so that I can just pick up my keys at the front desk which I did but when we got to the hotel no one was manning the front desk. We had to wait. Then the check in was repeated, meaning, their app was not working. I know it is a budget hotel but the place was old and dilapidated. Parts of the room’s door jamb were missing/rotten. The sink was inside the room where a normal dresser would have been. Only a standing lamp with two bulbs served as the room light. The aircon has two settings - on and off. The tile walls had cigarette burn marks. The bathtub’s connection to the tiles were chipped and flaking. Altogether the stay was disappointing.

Staff was friendly and helpful however the room was substandard, dirty and out dated. It allowed us much needed sleep for a short stop over but we won’t stay again

Not recommended.
Staff is superb, greatest I’ve ever seen. Hotel is old, although they try to keep it clean and I believe housekeeping do their best, bedsheets are clean, towels are new and clean, however, it need renovation. Downstairs, in the garden and canteen area, rats are running like cats.

Its cjeap but cheap is as cheap does. They have not so good laundry with cleaning their sheets I asked for two separate rooms both had hair inside the sheets even though they were clean. I know this is a cheap hotel but I thought at least there wouldn't be other people's hair in the freshly clean laundry sheets for the bed. I we woke up itchy through the night. even after I asked for the second room to have the sheets changed in front of us. It was not the staffs fault for cleaning. it seemed it was the laundry service Epic Hotel uses. This was a common thing that I found in that District during my stay. If you can spring for a nicer Hotel I suggest you do so throughout that area

Our stay was comfortable. Room size is decent, larger compared to other similar accommodations in the area. Location was a bit far from Aljunied MRT Station, though - around 10mins walk.

Our stay at the red doorz
The staff was friendly, the price was great, however the hotel was not in the best shape. It had brand new clean linans and beds but the air conditioning was old and barley worked. The fridge didn't work. There were cracks and damages on the wall. The carpet was old, damaged and stained. The bathroom was even older and in shambles. If you don't care about cosmetic appeal, it was great. If you do like a newer and cleaner look then you will be disappointed.

When we arrived at 19h our room was not cleaned, they were thrash from the previous guest. They are a lot of noises and lot of light when sleeping because you can't completly close the curtain. Overall bad expererience would not recommend.

Overall, it was a good experience
Overall, it was a good experience considering the cheap price. The room is clean and there are standard amenities like wifi, tea & coffee, toiletries and even slippers (which are great for this price range). The room and building is a bit old, but nothing to fuss over.

There are good and bad
The hotel had a bathtub, for a budget hotel that is quite surprising that they provide such necessities. They also provided free breakfast in the morning which was good too. However some of the furnitures in the room were spoilt and nobody fixed them. The towel has a weird smell. The location was a little difficult to find, at least a 10-15 minutes walk to the nearest MRT station. Overall it was an alright experience.

設備が古すぎる
口コミを見て試しに1泊。 レセプションの眼鏡の青年は真面目そうな感じはしたが、笑顔はなく事務的。ホテルはサービス業です。笑顔すらないのはどうかと思う。ここは役所ではないよ。 ホテルの名前は現代風だが、居抜き物件、要するうに、古いホテルを買取りリニューアルしたたけ。部屋に入ると非常に時代を感じる。 枕元にすら電源コンセントなし。 充電に一苦労。 湯沸しポットがあるがティーパック無し。 使い捨てスリッパやハンドタオルも無し。 ユニットバスも、浴槽の栓が無くお湯はたまらない。それ以前にバスルームの鼻を刺す悪臭がひどい。 色々とストレスを感じるので、リピートは無し。 古いながらも頑張りが見えたら定宿もありかと思うが、無い。 この周辺なら イビズバジェットがよろしいかと思います。
