"This place was heavenly. Close enough to Fort for tuk-tuk far enough a way for a lovely peaceful space. Pool area was lovely. Rooms spacious and comfortable with everything you need. Breakfast was also perfect and served up to 11.30 They didn't offer dinner but that was no problem as we were able to order Uber eats and they gave us plates Wonderful massages too A lovely chilled oasis "

"Staff always have a smile and will get you anything you need. Nice and clean room and communal areas, good variety of food. Great location if you are visiting for the Safari, only ten minutes up the road. The transition centre, where you can see the young elephants being fed, is even closer. "

Service in general was very spot on especially Chaminda, who took really good care of us. "Loved this little bit of paradise. The pool and view is the highlight, very quiet and tranquil, a great place to relax and unwind. Great food, fresh and very reasonable. Quiet remote but taxi or tuk tuk is easy to arrange via the reception. Rooms vary, some have better lake views than others, but very clean and well arranged and a good size. Only negative is that there is no mini-bar so no easy to keep you water and drinks called, although you can always get ice from the bar. Suits couples more than families. Staff are lovely and super helpful. Highly recommend."

The food at the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was such high quality and some of the best we had in Sri Lanka. The rooms are so stunning and clean, and have everything you need. The service is also incredible from the moment you get there to the moment you leave. Would definitely go back and recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone! "

"We had an amazing stay at Mansala Safari House. The hosts are very kind and welcoming, and the house itself is clean and comfortable. The hosts arranged two safaris for us which were both excellent; the driver picked us up directly from the accommodation and was very knowledgeable about the park. We had the car completely to ourselves as well. The hosts provided breakfast in the morning, and also gave us water bottles and coffees for the safaris. During our second day we were reading on the lovely terrace and the host even came up with a fresh mango for us which was delicious. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone - lovely hosts and a great space!"
