"I arrived late at night, but it was nice that it was right next to the station. The staff were kind and polite. The room was clean and comfortable. I didn't check that breakfast was included, and only realized it when I checked out."

"Stayed for 2 nights for parkrun. Selected the hotel as we came by train. Added bonus of the swimming pool which we used. Had to keep the window open so it was a bit noisy and you could smell the kebab van opposite but after midnight it was quiet."

"Beautiful hotel in a beautiful city! Room was huge, clean and i definitely felt like i got what i had paid for it. Staff was great and helpful. It's also very conveniently located near the Maastricht central train station by only a 5 min walk. (Tip: park at the train station garage)"

"Overall stay at Bastion was acceptable but was let down by lack of attention to detail i.e. numerous requests for extra towels and toilet rolls. Also TV did not work and at the end of our stay had still not been resolved ( hotel notified 3 times). No kettle in room and again 3 requests before it was provided."
