"Every room is waterfront so that's good. Value for the money was good. Could use some updates which is why I only gave 4 stars. Staff was mostly good. Bartenders and wait staff very friendly. Beach is not great for swimming but okay for snorkeling. Wish they had a pool more setup for floating than a lap pool. Overall, would recommend for the money."
"Our second visit to the Buccaneer and it was as nice this time as the first. The breakfast buffet is excellent with something for everyone. One of our favorite getaways….we will definitely be back!"
"Drinks were watered down. It rained for 2 days and they closed the outside bar & grill. They made a little buffet that consist of cold fried chicken and fries. So by the time dinner was served it was wiped out and cold. The all inclusive part sucked. The hotel was clean and nice. "
"3rd time visiting and I can't wait to go back. The staff really make you feel welcome here. I don't mind the Italian restaurant is closed, I preferred the food at the buffet. The people working the breakfast and dinner shifts are the best! Carla, Devenica and more who I'm sorry I didn't get your names! Dinner was always so good. In the mornings I was always greeted with a "good morning" & bacon, eggs, fruits & more. The coffee shop next door always made my coffee perfectly in the morning! Mickey at the bar also made great lunch and Gregory, Albena (sp?) and Scott were always working hard to get everyone their drinks. Would probably be a good idea for bartenders to stop taking food orders so the cooks can catch up. Thank you to the cook who came in on their day off to make sure we all got a hot lunch! CB does have paddle boards and kayaks, I highly recommend getting out to see the reef. I've never been on a kayak and I can't swim, although I wanted to get out to see the reef and be surrounded by the Caribbean ocean, and Lalo made this happen! This was the highlight of my stay this time. I know Lalo was only doing his job, but this simple act left me with a wonderful memory!
Do not underestimate the Caribbean sun! Bring water shoes. Have slippers for your room and a pair for the deck. CB is located on the far eastern end of St Croix, looking south into the Caribbean. If you don't want to be isolated please rent a car or be ready to pay for taxis. "
"I would definitely stay here again. the rooms were very clean and spacious . Hotel was in the perfect area , busy during the day but very quiet at night . Perfect for a vaction"
"When I booked this place it said that breakfast was included. There was no breakfast included. The staff only does anything special when cruise ships get there. You as a guest are not important enough to warrant great features. We wish we had had Dahlia because she showed some people around and we didn't get it towards the property. Island time is very slow. Many times there were no towels for us for the pool. I think that they should take more pride in cleaning up the Beach area. Lots of trash around the property. Located in a very poor part of town. Need to go to Christiansted to get the tourist vibe."
