"We were able to use this lovely hotel as a base to explore Vai Beach and surrounding areas, then Ierapetra the next day. One thing I really like about the hotel is that they let you check in as early as noon, and not leave until noon. The patio facing the water was very nice. Eg: the bathroom light was an old revamped oil lamp. Water pressure, excellant and even loofah;s available; cool and breezy under pine tree shade when Kato Sakros was boiling, and All windows and door were with screens to protect from mosquitoes.
