Hotel Concord Syracuse, an Ascend Collection Hotel
4/10 Poor
"The room overall looked clean but I found hair that didn’t belong to me on the pillows and the towel. The soap dish wasn’t cleaned and the shower didn’t drain properly (also some hair left in the basin). I also wasn’t given a trash can for my room. The blackout curtains wouldn’t slide all the way over so I had some trouble sleeping as well. Otherwise, the breakfast was good and the staff was kind. "
Randolph Hotel Liverpool/Syracuse/Airport West, Trademark
2/10 Terrible
"The room was dirty, felt unsafe, we did not even last 20 minutes and we left and booked another hotel. There were teenagers running up and down the hallway banging on the doors as well as you could hear them slam the doors"
"Pros: Nice and helpful staff, easy check in process, decent breakfast, nice decor in lobby and in rooms.
Cons: The hotel could really use an upgrade. While the overall look and layout of the hotel is nice, when you take a closer look you really start to notice how shoddy the various repairs are which kinda detracted from the overall experience."
"The hotel was under construction during our stay, which would not have had an impact at all, but the elevators were covered in drywall dust. the back door to the parking lot was left propped open at night and we only saw one staff member during our stay. The room smelled like body odor - a lingering scent that remained throughout the visit. There was no body wash or conditioner in the bottles in the shower. You had to use your hip to get the lock on the door to engage and the heating system was difficult to control. I think our room was one of the renovated rooms. The bathroom was clean, but the smell of the room as well as the weed smoked in the adjacent / adjoining room was dreadful. Perhaps just a moment in time for this well located hotel."
