"I didn’t stay at this hotel because it was very dirty. Pictures are not accurate. I walked out after seeing two rooms. Paint was coming out from the walls, place was stinking, bed sheets had bugs in it. First they couldn’t find my reservation. I had to struggle with the owner about that. Second, they showed me rooms and there is no way I could have stayed at this dirty place. Owner didn’t even offer to reimburse my money. Electricity seems to be a local problem but they have an inverter/generator and that kicks in when electricity cuts out. That is an area wide problem in this part part of Pakistan but not so bad. We enjoyed our stay here and the staff even picked some cherries for us from the trees around us in the compound. Would recommend it and you must visit Skardu and the surrounding beautiful areas:"
