Lovely market town, we did a walk around the castle and woodland park which was lovely. Had a scone and a tea at one of many Skipton cafes. Very cute.

Lovely house but flawed admin/booking arrangements
"Location is good, house is comfortable if slightly 'compact' (though layout well-designed) and local housekeeping excellent. However, the check-in system is too complex due to Hotels.com not releasing the client payment (made weeks before!) to Group Rentals until the very day (not "48 hours before"!) ..."

We were given a free parking pass into the Bolton Abbey estate. Had a walk to the Strid then coffee and cake at the Pavilion.
