What is so nice about Hotel Loka is not only a great location, very nice rooms, a good breakfast, but also wonderful people who own and operate the hotel. On our visit to Slovenia, we stayed there twice, at the beginning of our trip and at the end. Sure there were plenty of other hotels we could have booked, but no other place felt like home. Thank you Sasa for making feel welcome.

We book this hotel last minute, late at night. The owner was amazing. Kind, helpful. Rooms are beautiful, breakfast is a must. Service and attention, five star!!!!

Hotel Loka was absolutely amazing. Extremely clean, with service that would rate a five star hotel. To start we arrived bedraggled, and starving after a very long train trip from Germany. Sasha greeted us checked us in and even gave us a ride to the city center in her own car so we could get some food in us. This type of service is rarely found anywhere. If you decide to visit Skofja loka please stay here. Also it’s a bit tough to get into skofja loka from the train call Marco and his taxi service. He’s be best!

The feel was very welcoming. It seems to be family owned and very nice. The breakfast was very good - fresh fruit and vegetables. An assortment of cookies, bread sweet treats, fruit drinks and if you wanted cooked eggs or an omelet. Just a very pleasant atmosphere. There was a veranda for outside breakfast dining or afternoon break. They even offered to do laundry when we asked. Highly recommend

Cute property with super nice owners that we very attentive & super friendly! Their breakfast was delicious & they went above and beyond to prepare sandwiches for my boys when we arrived late and no restaurants were opened.

Upon arrival already, the host was exceptional. The host (husband & wife) running the place are the best so far I've ever encounter. We arrived late at night (after 10 pm and couldn't find a parking space. They were still on their premises and the husband came running to indicate where I could park (create a parking space) Breakfast only 12.00 euros and it is excellent. Host herself prepares the eggs and the buffet has a large variety. Never seen a buffet at that price. Most fruits are grown at home, guess marmalades are home made as for the sweets. I would definitely recommend this place without any doubt. Btw, host dominates English, Spanish and probably other language besides her own Slovanian

Mooi hotel en zeer gastvrij ontvangen. We werden ook goed geholpen om dingen te ondernemen. Uitgebreid ontbijt en zijn niks tekort gekomen. Wij komen daar zeker nog een keer terug.
