"Spent three days on Skopelos Island traveling alone. I stayed in Glossa at the Aegean Wave Hotel and loved everything about it. I enjoy the exceptional service provided by the owners of the hotel. My room and the restaurant had breathtaking views of the sea, glossa village, and other islands. It’s not directly in Glossa, but you’ll need a car or motorbike to get around the island anyway. I highly recommend Aegean Wave Hotel "

"The hotel and rooms are nice. Beds are "European comfort", so if you are used to American beds you will have to get used to a firmer, smaller bed. Nice pool area, very nice and helpful proprietor. The place is a bit outside the main town of Skopelos so you will need some form of transport...we hired a small car. Recommended."

"You do not expect luxury for the price but our room was very different to the light and cheerful rooms advertised online - we booked a studio room which was dark and gloomy, had harsh artificial lights, a broken bed (which was fixed during the stay), and a very tired and old bathroom. The shower curtain did not allow you to shower without flooding the whole bathroom. Wifi was slow and patchy. Our outside seating was at the end of the line and litter had blown down from other rooms and was not...

"We have just returned from a wonderful stay at the Delphi. This is a gem of a place! It has the best location right next to a bus stop that will take you to the best beaches on the island, round the corner is the nicest bakery you have ever been to and a simple local supermarket. If that is not enough there are many fabulous Greek Tavernas and lovely bars to visit and the wonderful Hovolos Beach just 5 minutes walk away.
