"A hotel that reuses a building in a former airbase. Very nice surroundings with lots of trees, quiet. No problem to park, free and lots of space. The food at breakfast and dinner was very good - the dinner is a la carte with good selections. If needed, there is a huge shopping area a few minutes down the road. Walking distance to the air force museum in the same area. Rooms adequate, the sound isolation was not very good as i heard people talking through the ventilation opening. Quiet during the...

"On a motorcycle tour of Scandinavia we stayed in around 15 different hotels - this was a real favourite. It was slightly out of season, so fairly quiet even though it looks like it could handle a lot of guests comfortably (I imagine it's sometimes used for weddings). Our room was superb - very recently refurbished (still had that slight "new carpet" smell) and was finished to a very high standard. Very spacious, with a large bathroom and even a little entrance lobby. Each room has it's own door...

which was well used. There were also 2 Padel courts in the area. Every cabin had its own parking space just outside. "
