The day of booking the property the owner called after 9pm to enquire where the payment was to which we explained it was purchased on hotels.com AND that the trip was for my SICK mother. "We had a fantastic stay at Chapter House. The location was excellent, just a short walk to Main Street with plenty of great food options nearby. Breakfast each morning was delicious and a lovely way to start the day. The staff were incredibly helpful, especially when the wine tram was fully booked. They took the time to explain our options, which we really appreciated. We opted for the tuk tuk instead and would highly recommend it. It was great fun, picked us up and dropped us off at the hotel, and was even cheaper than the tram."

"Lovely stay overall. The setting is beautiful and very relaxing. Breakfast was made to order and consistently excellent, and we really enjoyed the complimentary wine tasting each day at 5:30pm—a lovely touch that added to the experience. The bathrooms, while very clean, could benefit from some modernising and refurbishment. One small note: pool service was a bit slow, and there is a tray charge and tip automatically included with pool drink orders. The amount is minimal, but it would be helpful if this were made clear prior to ordering, or simply included in the drink prices. Overall, a wonderful stay and a place we would happily return to."

"Warm welcome. Beautifully decorated room with all the necessary features. Very comfortable bed and flexible bathroom (small point- water pressure in the bath could be better). The plunge pool was relaxing with enough chezlongue for all guests. Food was very good with an interesting contrast between Epice and Protege. Would highly recommend for a relaxing breqk or longer holiday. We already considering when we can go back."
