"Charming hotel! This hotel was definitely a gem in its hay day. Although it is a little tired, it is still charming and a lovely place to stay. It was quiet and felt very safe tucked away from the street. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The grounds were nice and had a walking trail where we took the dogs for a stroll. Lots of green space and easy parking. The breakfast was a lovely surprise too with good options and great coffee. Had gluten free options too! The tavern is no longer open which was a bit of a bummer."

"The hotel was very nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and spacious. The floors were not carpeted which is different from most hotels. There wasn't an operational blackout screen for the window in the living room so the room was very bright early in the morning for our friend on the pull out sofa. The continental breakfast was very typical for most hotels but lacked a bit of the usual variety. A single toaster that was not the best I've ever seen for a hotel. The lids on the the induction heated pans were rather heavy and I watched several people have trouble lifting them just to see what was in the pan. A clear lid would be much more useful."
