We booked this place last minute after a long long drive to Phillip Island to rest after we watched the Penguin Parade and this place is located just a 8 min drive away, very near the main road yet very quiet. Best of all, the room was so tastefully decorated and had a very comfortable bed, we were thrilled to have it for a nice recharge. Would be even better for a longer stay as it had amenities such as dishwasher, microwave and a small pantry. Highly recommended!

Amaroo is perfect for my family of 5, with child and teenagers. It is clean, comfortable and even though we had to check-in late, we were given clear instructions on how to access our unit. Had trouble w starting fire on stove, but a staff came in to help even though it was after 8pm. Really appreciate the help! Will return. :)

When I booked this hotel, I was quite skeptical since the room rates were almost 30-40% cheaper as compared to the hotels in Cowes. My expectations of this place were quite low. However, as soon we checked-in, we were in for a pleasant surprise. The room was big, nicely decorated, with comfy beds. Bathrooms and toilets were quite clean as well. The early morning view of the bay across the road was magnificent. The location is easily accessible (its just off the Phillip island highway); has a...

As an asian, the floor could have been cleaner. Otherwise location is not too bad. Just a short 5-10 min drive into town with everything you need. Cabin is nice and quiet and very well equipped with everything you need. Surrounded by walking trail with many wildlife for the kids to see. Highly recommended

It was ok nice hotel with a stunning sea view. Location was good easy parking within the hotel area.
The hotel got no lift, if you have big luggages and being arrange to stay in the upper floor congrats you just won yourself some free basic shaolin kung fu training.
Pray hard you got no rude hotets room neighbors, the soundproof was bad and we have 2 nights with some rude user next to our room keep banging their doors every 10 or 15mins when they are in the room.
** please take note that...
