"If like us you are just looking for a place to rest in comfort while you are traveling, then this is it! Very clean, basic furnishings with no TV. A cooktop, microwave, and fridge, but no oven are provided. As we arrived after midnight, and had difficulty with the room code after entering the building, we called the 'emergency number' and got in the 'next available operator' loop for half an hour so no one responds if their is an actual emergency. "Great experience overall at the Clarion! Well maintained hotel in a great location--we spent a few days exploring Oslo and that area is very walkable (there's also a bus stop directly next to the hotel). Staff were very friendly and helpful. My one complaint is the cleaning job was pretty poor-- of the 3-4 days we stayed, they only offered to clean the room once and there were pretty minimal changes after they had (e.g., sheets weren't changed, clearly hadn't vacuumed, etc). For close to $300 per night I'd expect more. Otherwise though, we had an overall positive experience!"
